Dolphins
Rumors have been swirling since this offseason that the Miami Dolphins were interested in acquiring quarterback Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans. Now, it appears they may get their wish. Watson has a no-trade clause in his current deal, which means he has to approve of the team/location he would be going in order for the trade to be completed. Watson has currently only okay-ed this for the Dolphins. Keep in mind, the trade deadline is November 2, so this should be happening fairly soon.
steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's body has been held together with toothpicks and rubber bands for the past five years, but this year it's extremely noticeable. The team had their bye this past week, and Roethlisberger says it's perfect timing.
texans
Houston Texans quarterback Tyrod Taylor is on track to return, which thankfully means we no longer have to suffer through Davis Mills anymore. Except maybe this week. Taylor was designated by the team to return from injured reserve and practiced on Wednesday, but Mills could still be the starter for one more week.
eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles are not exactly having the season they had in mind, especially when it comes to quarterback Jalen Hurts. While no one on the team is pointing fingers, Hurts says the team has to stop "beating themselves."

giants
After being knocked out (literally) of the game last weekend, New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones returned to practice on Thursday on a limited basis. Jones' status is still up in the air, as he is currently progressing through concussion protocol and has to be cleared in order to play this week.
STEELERS
Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers are struggling this season, but they finally snapped their losing streak last week. Could this be the spark they need to keep things going? Roethlisberger says they still have a lot of work to do. "We're not by any means going to sit here and say we're fixed; we're this great offense. We're not there yet. We still have a long way to go." Well, at least he's aware.
chargers
In probably one of the best quotes I've heard this entire season, Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Wink Martindale said of Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert... well, I'll just leave it here.

bears
The Chicago Bears have made their second-best decision regarding the quarterback position since drafting Justin Fields in April. Fields was named the starter by head coach Matt Nagy (if you believe him, anyway) on Wednesday not only for Week Five, but moving forward.
steelers
In something that absolutely not a single person saw coming, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is struggling this season and that's putting it nicely. He agrees, which is the first step in admitting there's a problem. "I need to be better. I need to fight through and figure out how to make better decisions, how to make better throws, be a better football player. That's why I said I'm not going to quit. I'm not doing that. I'm not giving up on this season. No one in the building is." Okay, but maybe you should.
49ers
San Francisco 49ers starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo injured his calf during Sunday's game and sat out the first half. He didn't practice Wednesday, but isn't yet ruling himself out of Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. When asked if he would still be hurting this weekend if he takes the field, he said, "I'd be battling through it probably. We'll take it day by day. It hurts, but it is what it is at this point. I'm not going to put anything in stone yet."

bears
Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy said all three quarterbacks will have the chance to start Week Four. So, where does that leave them? No final decisions have been made yet, but Andy Dalton and Justin Fields practiced on Wednesday. Nagy is still insisting that Dalton is the starter if he's healthy. I'm waiting on the edge of my seat.
patriots
One of the best things about having a rookie quarterback is that you have to, at some point, basically expect some growing pains. That's what happened with New England Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones last Sunday. Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels mentioned that it's expected, but it also can't become the norm. "You may have a bad quarter, may have a bad day, you may have a bad week, but it doesn't mean you can let that snowball into a bad season. Just taking as much as you can from each opportunity to learn. The adversities are sometimes our best teachers."
jaguars
Speaking of rookie QBs, Trevor Lawrence is also dealing with something similar. The Jacksonville Jaguars haven't won a game this season, but Lawrence says he can feel himself growing and learning in his first season in the NFL. "I feel like every week I've gotten better. I definitely feel the progress. I feel like I'm seeing it really well. I feel good about where I am."
steelers
While we're talking about teams that haven't been playing well this season, may I present to you the Pittsburgh Steelers. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger seems to be one of the more significant problems, showing his age and inability to move around as much as he would probably like. Roethlisberger is (of course) saying that nothing is on any one person or position. "I think there's not this one big glaring thing. It's just a little thing here, a little thing there, which I think is why we can be encouraged as an offense that it's not that far off."
titans
Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill might be down two receivers this week, as both Julio Jones and AJ Brown are dealing with injuries. However, Tannehill somehow isn't worried (I am). "Something we believe in this organization is 'next man up' mentality. Not sure who is going to end up trotting out there on Sunday, but I'm confident in whoever it is."
dolphins
I love a good revenge game. But apparently, Jacoby Brissett doesn't. With Tua Tagovailoa still out due to a rib issue, Brissett will be starting another week for the Miami Dolphins. And he gets to play his old team, the Indianapolis Colts. Brissett spent four seasons with the team. "I'm not in here for like a revenge game or anything like that. I want to go to win."

packers
After a horrible loss in Week One, just as I predicted (not to brag), Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers bounced back in a huge division win against the Detroit Lions. While many people started to wonder aloud whether Rodgers "had it" any longer, was "mentally retired," etc. Rodgers is more than happy to shut everyone up for at least a week.
patriots
New England Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones has been somewhat effective in the first two weeks of his professional career, but much of that is thanks to short throws. Is Jones struggling to move the ball downfield? Not so fast, he says. "I wouldn't say that. I think it goes back to just me sticking to my rules, and there's sometimes when the defense takes plays away, and that's why we play. I mean, they are good on defense, too. At the same time, I feel like you take the three or four plays, or whatever it may be, whether it is in practice or a game, and you re-watch them, and you're like, 'OK, I probably could've thrown that one.''
Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels also said there are no training wheels on Jones. "It’s not like he’s not throwing downfield … It’s just there’s certain times when it’s the right time to do it and certain times where it’s not. And I’ve got to continue to work hard myself to try to provide our offense with opportunities to do that if it presents itself." lions
After swapping quarterbacks this offseason, the Detroit Lions are 0-2 and probably not where they want to be. New QB Jared Goff agrees with this but is also optimistic. (For what it's worth, he played better than I thought he would last night, at least in the first half.) "I believe in the guys we have here. I believe in Dan. I believe in the staff...We believe this is a new regime and a new energy in the building. It's still early. Obviously, 0-2 is not where we want to be, but a lot of room to improve and a lot of wins to be had down the line."
steelers
Stop me if you've heard this before, but Ben Roethlisberger is injured. Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that Roethlisberger is dealing with a pectoral injury. There is no word yet on whether it will affect his status for Week Three's game, but it's something to watch throughout practices this week.
49ers
The San Francisco 49ers haven't lost a game yet, and they also haven't started their rookie QB yet. They don't need to, but I've been telling you that for weeks now. Starter Jimmy Garoppolo is doing just fine, and head coach Kyle Shanahan has said all summer that he looks the best he's ever seen him. This week's compliment: Garoppolo's footwork. "He can sit there flat-footed and just throw completely from his core with the way his upper body turns and the way his hip turns. He can make almost every throw. But Jimmy, as far as his footwork, I think his is the most consistent, he best he's been at it since I've been with him."
