One of the reasons Odell Beckham Jr. ended up with the Baltimore Ravens was the quarterback who isn't really the quarterback. Do you follow? Lamar Jackson was the ringleader when it came to getting Beckham on the roster, despite not being currently under contract.
Jackson is still searching for a new contract (he recently tweeted that he requested a trade and followed up with the opinion that the Ravens did not value him), so I find it hard to believe that this one move (for one year, nonetheless) will make him swallow his pride and sign either the tag or for less money than he asked for. I talk more about this in Monday's Patreon episode. more Qb news:

Bill Belichick hasn't yet committed to QB Mac Jones starting for the New England Patriots in 2023. I think he's just being Belichick, but others seem to think the tension between the two is real.
We all saw Jones scream on the sideline many times, frustrated. As he had a right to when you make your defensive coordinator your offensive coordinator (?). Jones wasn't bad his rookie season and then went through a dramatic second year as a pawn in the Matt Patricia experiment.
I know Belichick is controlling, but he's not dumb. Let Jones have another year with an actual OC before you ship him off elsewhere. Speaking of, a report also surfaced on Tuesday that Belichick shopped Jones to teams including Washington, Tennessee and Vegas. I'm not so sure about that. more QB news:
QB Ryan Tannehill has a $36.6 million cap hit in 2022, sparking rumors that the Tennessee Titans could move on from him. Personally, I still think it happens, but as of right now, head coach Mike Vrabel is adamant that Tannehill will remain the team's quarterback in 2023. "Of course we do [expect Tannehill to be the QB]. We are in March and we are continuing to build a football team, the best football team we can. And Ryan is getting healthy. He has been putting the work in." If you say so, Mike.
The Titans currently hold the No.11 pick in the NFL Draft - the top guys are all likely to be gone by then. Tennessee could be hoping a guy like Will Levis falls that far, but if not? Can I interest you in a slightly used Lamar Jackson? more qb News:

Merry Christmas to me! The Indianapolis Colts are benching quarterback Matt Ryan - yes, again - for Nick Foles. Foles will be their third quarterback to start this season. Definitely not what they had planned.
The first time Ryan was benched, rookie Sam Ehlinger took over, and head coach Frank Reich was later fired. Then, the Colts hired Jeff Saturday for some reason, went back to Ryan, and blew the biggest lead in NFL history. Foles, their last hope, is a former Super Bowl MVP and has only played two snaps this season - the final snaps of a 24-0 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Foles said on Wednesday that he had no frustration towards the Colts for not turning to him earlier in the season. The Colts take on Justin Herbert, an actual good QB, and the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football. more Qb news:

Kyler Murray did tear his ACL as expected, an MRI confirms. He will miss the rest of the season.
While this season was mostly a wash for the Arizona Cardinals, now the question lingers if he'll be ready to go by the start of the 2023 season. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters on Tuesday that he will get more tests done before having surgery. more qb news:
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has been dealing with a hamstring injury for a couple of weeks, missing two games so far. Murray reportedly originally injured his hamstring at the end of October. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said on Tuesday that while Murray has made some progress, he's not quite ready to return to the field.
As a disappointing season for Arizona continues, backup QB Colt McCoy will get starting reps while Murray is out.
The Cardinals have the Los Angeles Chargers up next, followed by a Week 13 bye. It's very possible they wait until after the bye week to put Murray back in the line-up. more QB news:
The Tennessee Titans dominated the Green Bay Packers from start to finish on Thursday Night Football. The star of the show was running back Derrick Henry. Henry topped 1,000 rushing yards for the season (seven-plus weeks to go). Henry also ran for a touchdown and played quarterback for the night, tossing this pass to tight end Austin Hooper for six.
