Buzz - If these are the new TItans jerseys, they're god awful

The Tennessee Titans are on deck to get new uniforms this season, and some random dude tweeted (has since been deleted so I jacked just the pic) this photo on Tuesday night, which may or may not be their new style.

Every possible synonym for the word "terrible" is what this is. What number even is that? What font is that? What are those stars doing?

The NFL apparently is investigating the source of this photo, because of course they are. The tweet has been deleted somewhere between last night and this morning, hmmm. Apparently things are supposed to be very tight-lipped when it comes to uniforms and they protect this shit like its the holy grail. There's a big extravaganza for the uniform reveal (aka "how can we make money off of this?") with a performance by some atrocious country band, so whoever gets caught with this reveal (if it's the real thing) is def getting the boot. How dare they.

Buzz-worthy-

  • The Los Angeles Rams traded for receiver Brandin Cooks on Tuesday along with a fourth-round pick. The New England Patriots will receive the Rams' first and sixth-round picks. Jesus Christ in heaven stop giving the Patriots more draft picks. And the Rams are just straight up going for it. Their other new additions include big-time names like Aqib Talib, Ndamukong Suh and Marcus Peters.
  • "We’re going to take all the time we need, but there will be no limitations once the season rolls around.” - Kyle Long on if he'll be ready to go next season after having three surgeries.
  • Sam Darnold will workout for the Denver Broncos this week. They picked up Case Keenum in free agency, but John Elway insisted they were keeping their options open, cause god knows they have a way with QBs (that was a Tebow pun).
  • Drew Brees is suing a jeweler over a scam (and over millions of dollars worth of jewelry), and said jeweler's lawyer came back with fighting words. "He should restrict his game-playing to the football field, and refrain from bullying honest, hardworking businessmen like my client." Damn.
  • Jordan Reed had toe surgery which led him to only playing six games last season for the Washington Redskins. He hopes to be back by training camp (like it matters).
  • The Atlanta Falcons and Matt Ryan are "close" on a contract extension. Hahahahahahaaah
  • In better quarterback news, the Ravens apparently want Joe Flacco and his newest receivers to get extra work in beyond the practice field. This happens when you have little to no receivers, or new receivers every year and find yourself forgetting their names or even what they look like from time to time. After missing last year's entire training camp and preseason due to a back injury, Flacco's eliteness is due for a new awakening.
  • "That's stupid. That's stupid, man. It's a once-in-a-lifetime, or once-in-a-generation talent, man, and you've got to be ready. I think he'll get paid. They not that crazy." - AJ Green on the Giants' trading Odell Beckham.
  • Dez Bryant hasn't met with the Dallas Cowboys yet about his deal. Set to make big bucks in the next two seasons, Dez and his agent haven't yet discussed the shake up that could be the Cowboys' wide receiver room shortly. Dallas added Deonte Thompson and Allen Hurns this offseason.
  • "I have a divine purpose to be here. You don't just survive those shots and walk around normal." - Stedman Bailey opens up about the shooting, and about his NFL comeback. If you read something today, read this.
