Cowboys aren't panicking about Tyron Smith's neck injury right now

Dallas Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith was added to the team's injury report yesterday (Thursday) with a neck injury. Usually, those things are never good, but head coach Mike McCarthy isn't that concerned about it right now. Which, I guess, is good news?

Cowboys LT Tyron Smith (neck) missed practice Thursday. Mike McCarthy on @1053thefan: “We’ll see how Tyron is. I’m not alarmed right now, but it’s something that we’re looking at. These are the experiences you need. It’s important for young players to play early in the season.”

If Smith misses practice today (Friday), I'd say it's likely he'll be out this week. The Cowboys are already down offensive linemen - La'el Collins, for one. The good news? The Cowboys have the Atlanta Falcons this week.
