Many conversations are going on in the sports world, and the world in general about social justice, reform, and change. As these continue, one thing we want to make clear: if you don't understand, we will try to educate each other to understand better.
That's the message behind what the Dallas Cowboys plan to do. Owner Jerry Jones hasn't been shy about his attempts to downplay the real issues at hand, including trying to find a "compromise" on kneeling for the anthem (which not only misses the entire point but is completely tone-deaf). Cowboys players are hoping to include Jones in their discussions, as he was magically out of town the past few days, and make him understand their points of view.
For once, Jones should just shut up and listen. If he doesn't change his mind or thinking, maybe he will at least learn something.
