Former Dallas Cowboys star receiver Dez Bryant is working out for the Baltimore Ravens today (Thursday). Bryant is hoping for another shot with a contending team after three years away from football.
Also joining him for the workout is kick returner/receiver Dwayne Harris.
The Ravens have been hurting in the wide receiver department for a while now (I'm talking like ten years), and while Bryant has been out of the game for three years, if he shows he may still be able to play -- why not? The advantage of having a quarterback like Lamar Jackson and a strong running game is you may not necessarily need a strong receiver, but one would be nice to have.
Most of the receivers on Baltimore's roster currently are all around the same spot -- not established, could be better, could be worse. Having Bryant who isn't in that realm will be a change of pace. That being said, with everything going on this season, I don't see the Ravens wasting a spot on a guy they aren't sure about. Bryant is going to have to prove it today.
