mike mayock is donating $1,000 per draft pick

During his pre-draft presser, Las Vegas Raiders (I'm gonna be calling them Oakland Raiders for at least a year) general manager ​Mike Mayock vowed to donate $1,000 per draft pick he makes toward support for fighting COVID-19. 

Mike Mayock says his family will donate $1,000 per draft pick made to a Nevada charity in the name of each selection to help during this difficult time due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The money will go to the Clark County Delivering with Dignity Program, which helps families in need in and around the Las Vegas area. The Raiders currently have seven picks -- which could increase or decrease due to trades, so... you do the math.

With so much uncertainty in sports -- will there even be a season, being the biggest question -- it's good on Mayock to use one event that we know for sure is going to happen -- the draft -- as an example to help people.
