The Buffalo Bills moved some money around on Stefon Diggs' contract on Tuesday. I am not one for contract speak or money speak (numbers are the enemy) -- thankfully we have Twitter for that.
Not saying this is the case here, but I'm surprised we haven't seen more of the "pay me more money or I'm gonna opt out" situations. I know the players don't have too much leverage as far as that goes, but moving money around to benefit the player to play during a pandemic seems like it could be an option for teams, if they have the ability.
Things definitely will be different this year, from the contracts behind the scenes to on the field, if we get that far.
