Not only is he the front-runner for MVP right now, and should probably win it or they just shouldn't have the award, but Lamar Jackson broke the record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single season on Thursday night. The record was previously held by Michael Vick at 1,039 yards.

I don't care if you're the biggest Ravens fan on the planet. If you thought he was going to be doing this last season, you're a liar. Winning 10 straight, locking down the MVP, getting the team behind him the way he is. Stop. He's surprising everybody, and it's okay to say so.

The NFL announced their nominees for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award on Thursday.

I love this -- I personally worked with various NFL players with their foundations, and it's my favorite part of the NFL. So many good people doing so many great things. Congrats to all the nominees.

My picks for friday:

Long Bright River, by Liz Moore. Currently Reading! I'm only a little ways' in, but it's about a cop who's sister is addicted to drugs, there's a killer on the loose and is determined to find her. Love the writing style so far. It's a long one, though, so if you're looking for a quick read, this might not be it. (preorder for $13.99)
2020 Planner. My planner is my life and I love a fresh one for a new year. This one is so good -- Day to week to month, all major holidays listed. I am so in love with this and you need this especially if one of your New Years' Resolutions is to be more organized. ($28)
Stackable Glass Bowls. Get in the kitchen! These are super cheap and I love to use them when I'm cooking in the kitchen. Great for storing in the kitchen. ($16.44)
