kevin stefanski tests positive for covid-19
The Cleveland Browns have made the playoffs for the first time in almost twenty years annnnnd -fart noise-
The team announced that head coach Kevin Stefanski (and arguably their most significant asset when it comes to their success this season) has tested positive for COVID-19, along with two assistant coaches, a wide receiver, and an offensive lineman. The facility will be closed Tuesday. Not great!
All coaches and players who tested positive today will be absent in Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Special teams coordinator Mike Priefer will serve as "acting head coach." And I'm sure the NFL still plans to play the game as scheduled because... NFL.
UPDATE: Three-time Pro Bowler and longest-tenured Browns player left guard Joel Bitonio, and wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge are the two players who have tested positive.
stefon diggs dealing with oblique injury
Something Buffalo Bills fans DO NOT WANT: wide receiver Stefon Diggs (and Josh Allen's literal life-line) is dealing with an oblique injury and was limited in Tuesday's practice. The good news is, it's only Tuesday. The bad news is, WR Cole Beasley is still out of practice after injuring his knee in Week 16. Beasley also missed last week's game and is considered "week-to-week." Pls, cross your fingers.
