The San Francisco 49ers seem desperate in the 'weapons department,' with injuries and lack of depth being the themes of their training camp thus far. Now they have one in tight end Erik Swoope, who the team signed on Monday.
The former Indianapolis Colt hasn't played in the NFL since 2018 but is most likely going to be used as a depth decision, sitting behind star TE George Kittle. Also in the tight end group is Ross Dwelley and Jordan Reed, who hasn't practiced yet.
