Joe Burrow will most likely be a Cincinnati Bengal
LSU quarterback Joe Burrow will more likely than not be the first pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, and who has the first pick, you ask? The very unlucky and very terrible Cincinnati Bengals. Poor guy.
But cue the media, it's time to take one measly quote, and completely spin it out of control! Burrow said something along the lines of, that he'd love to go first overall, but wanted to go to a good team, etc. etc. (which clearly "good" and "team" aren't words that you put together to describe the Cincinnati football team). Burrow clarified his comments during a press conference on Tuesday, saying he would play for the Bengals if they end up drafting him in April.
"Happily" is kinda pushing it, but there's your answer. RIP. bill o'brien is handing over play-calling duties.
After seeming to have way too much under his belt (he's literally the head coach AND the general manager), Houston Texans' Bill O'Brien is handing over offensive play-calling duties to quarterbacks coach Tim Kelly.
This should give O'Brien a little break and let him focus on being a head coach instead of a head coach and million other things.
