When I said I thought the offseason New York Jets hype train was going to come to a halting stop - I didn't mean it like this.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers went down with what appeared to be a leg injury in the team's first possession. Rodgers was led to the medical tent, where he was later carted to the locker room to have X-rays. He was given a questionable designation to return to game action before the team ruled him out in the second quarter. X-rays were negative.
The original fear is that Rodgers has an Achilles injury.
Saleh also stated postgame QB Zach Wilson will be "the guy" moving forward. I'd still expect them to bring in another veteran QB. Joe Flacco anyone?
