The Cincinnati Bengals aren't off to a good start, even with their rookie quarterback Joe Burrow playing well. One of the things that can get them rolling, getting wide receiver AJ Green more involved, is at the top of the list.
Green did not play last season, and not only is he getting back into the swing of things, but he's also adjusting to a team that he's not used to playing in. (An Andy Dalton-led one.) Green acknowledged to reporters on Thursday that he knows he has some work to do to get back up to par.
This is something Green could have gotten a head start on had there been a preseason. The plus side? Green is a seasoned vet and will be able to pick up these things faster than most, and Burrow seems to know what he's doing so far.
