Ben roethlisberger is officially back

Earlier this week, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger shared a video of himself throwing a football again! Miraculous! After missing basically the entire 2019 season, Roethlisberger wanted to show he was back in action, by throwing with his teammates.

Roethlisberger had stated earlier this offseason that he wouldn't shave his beard until he could throw a football again, and then promptly shaved his beard off, once again looking like a giant toddler. All jokes aside, don't sleep on the Steelers this season. It pains me to say it, but it's the truth.

patrick chung signs extension with new england

The New England Patriots and safety Patrick Chung agreed on an extension on Wednesday. The deal is a $3 million deal, where he will be with the team through 2023.

The Patriots and S Patrick Chung have agreed to a two-year extension through 2023, per sources. Chung gets $3M to sign and is now due up to $12.8M over the next four years. One of the most reliable players on their standout defense.

No one really talks about this guy, but like the tweet says, he's reliable as hell. He's also been in the league for forever basically.

saints say taysom hill is the guy after drew brees

Just like I told you all about a month ago, the New Orleans Saints already have their quarterback back-up plan for when current starter and future Hall-of-Famer Drew Brees eventually retires. That guy is Taysom Hill.

Taysom Hill will be "the guy" after Drew Brees, says @JayGlazer https://t.co/BgKthfWIG7

Glazer also went on to say that he's a "bigger Lamar Jackson," which for the record I do not agree with at this point in time.

There's a lot of questions on whether, at 30, Hill is really a useable option for the Saints once Brees does call it quits, and why wouldn't he be? I think (and this is purely my speculation, I don't have any 'inside info' on this) the team banked on Brees retiring this past year, and now have to wait another to utilize Hill in his role. In the meantime, he's a playmaker willing to help in any way he can. Winning on both ends.
