The Buffalo Bills have signed their left tackle Dion Dawkins to a four-year, $60 million extension, keeping him with the team through 2024.
Dawkins was on the final year of his rookie contract. Listen, this guy is super reliable -- hasn't missed a game, and started most of them -- but this is a lot of money. I get the need for a good offensive lineman, but still. I think Dawkins is an underrated player for sure (most great offensive linemen are), but this is a big money deal. I hope they plan on paying him this much for what they think he will continue to do, rather than what he already has done, and there's a difference there.
