The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have their first player (so far) to opt out of the 2020 NFL season, and that is tackle Brad Seaton.
Seaton qualifies for the 'high risk' stipend of $350,000. Once again, I've said this almost after every post of a player choosing to opt out -- if you're criticizing a player for making a choice that puts either theirs or their family's health first, you can kindly go f*ck off. The deadline to opt out of the 2020 NFL season is today (Thursday August 6) at 4pm EST. The clock is ticking.
