Tight end Benjamin Watson reunited with one of his former teams on Wednesday, signing a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints. Previously with the Baltimore Ravens in 2017, Watson was not only their Man of the Year candidate (and finalist), but he led the team with 61 catches for over 500 yards and four touchdowns. This is both surprising and not. It's surprising because Watson is old as shit. It's not surprising because the rest of the team either forgot how to catch or didn't know how to in the first place.
Baltimore didn't seem that interested on signing Watson back, even though they need a tight end like I need to breathe. Every single good Ravens tight end I can think of has been littered with extremely bad luck - making me think they're in some sort of cult, or just didn't send out their chain letter emails. At tight end the Ravens currently have Nick Boyle (good blocker but loves Adderall), Maxx Williams (hurt every three seconds) and Vince Mayle (made a good play once or twice). Buzz-Worthy -
