So, the Baltimore Ravens are desperate when it comes to the wide receiver position. They have the ghost of Breshad Perriman and I seriously thought they were going to re-sign Michael Campanaro for a second. Baltimore signed Michael Crabtree this offseason, which is their biggest free agency pick-up this offseason. And since we can't have nice things, Jeremy Maclin was the Ravens' biggest free agency pick-up last season, so that should tell you all you need to know. Moving on to Dez Bryant and Willie Snead. Dez was cut by the Cowboys last week, and the Ravens immediately had interest, as they should. Dez, however, did not have interest in playing in Baltimore. His reason? He didn't want to play in Joe Flacco's system. This weekend, the Ravens signed New Orleans Saints WR and restricted free agent Willie Snead to an offer sheet worth almost $10.5 million. My assumption is Dez and his camp finally told Baltimore no, bringing in their second choice, Snead. Knowing New Orleans just signed former Chicago Bears WR Cameron Meredith, the chances of the Saints matching Snead's offer sheet are slim. So there's that. I didn't want to tell y'all that because someone not wanting to play with Joe Flacco is bad for my brand. buzz-worthy-
