On Monday, the Jacksonville Jaguars mutually parted ways (supposedly) with offensive coordinator John DeFilippo after just one season. 

A surprise in Jacksonville: The #Jaguars are moving on from offensive coordinator John DeFilippo, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. After a season that saw him help develop rookie Gardner Minshew, DeFilippo is out and Jax will hire a new OC.

This is kind of unexpected, as he did a pretty good job with rookie QB Gardner Minshew this past season. Is it possible he was Tom Couglin's guy and they just wanted to completely start over?

lions hire a new defensive coordinator

The Detroit Lions  have some fresh blood -- former Philadelphia Eagles defensive backs coach Cory Undlin​. 

The Lions are hiring Eagles defensive backs coach Cory Undlin as their new defensive coordinator, per league source.

Undlin and Lions head coach Matt Patricia both began their NFL careers together as coaching assistants with the Patriots in 2004.
