![]() This shouldn't shock anyone, but the Buffalo Bills have sent home wide receiver Cole Beasley for five days due to being a close contact with a team trainer who tested positive for COVID-19.
Unvaccinated players, like Beasley, are required to stay the fuck home for five days and continue to test negative for each of those five days, per NFL protocols. Beasley has tested negative as of right now (Tuesday). On the flip side, if he were vaccinated like an intelligent person, there would be no restrictions on Beasley after coming into contact with the trainer. Bills receiver Gabriel Davis and defensive tackle Star Loutelei were also sent home for the same amount of time, testing negative as of Tuesday. The trainer who tested positive was fully vaccinated, but this drives the point home that the unvaccinated players have the most considerable risk of being infected after contact. Beasley, who famously went on a rant about how he wasn't vaccinated and didn't plan to be, is currently experiencing the consequences of an organization where you benefit from getting the shot. I also can't wait until he takes to Twitter to express his feelings about this situation.
