Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams shoved a photographer after Monday night's game (if you haven't seen the video, you've likely been hiding under a rock), and is now being charged with misdemeanor assault.

The cameraman, a freelancer who was working for Monday Night Football, was said to have suffered a "minor concussion" during the event. The NFL is investigating the incident for a potential fine and/or suspension.

more:

  • Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers showed up on Wednesday's injury report with a thumb injury and missed practice. The team says they aren't concerned about him missing time this week. It sounds like Rodgers is just getting a rest day (ish) and I wouldn't worry about this unless it persists later into the week.

Packers’ HC Matt LaFleur told reporters that QB Aaron Rodgers will not practice today due to a thumb injury, but he added “we don't have much concern as far as gameday.”

  • Another week of the Cooper Rush Experience for the Dallas Cowboys. Starter Dak Prescott began throwing this week, but still needs more time to get up to speed to be on the field. Rush has been undefeated as a starter and will go up against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.

The Cowboys are preparing for Cooper Rush to start against the Eagles, per coach Mike McCarthy.
Dak Prescott is improving. Planned to throw to receivers in practice. Has not been medically cleared.

  • Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will not play this week after suffering two concussions four days apart. Third-stringer Skylar Thompson will get the start this week, with Teddy Bridgewater also unavailable. You can't make this up.

McDaniel on Tua vs. Vikings: "I don't see him active and I do not plan to have him play at all."

  • Some good news, though! Wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who was injured in last week's game, is optimistic that he will be able to play this week. Hill hurt his left foot in Week Five and was in a walking boot following the game.

McDaniel said Tyreek Hill will practice today, sans walking boot
