Uhh... ok.
Oakland Raiders NOPE Las Vegas Raiders quarterback (it's gonna take me a while) Derek Carr met with reporters on Tuesday, and when he was asked if he thought about opting out of the 2020 season, he had an interesting response.
First of all, that's not what they asked. Second, ever since his broken leg in 2016, Carr hasn't really looked like he has pre-leg break. Not trying to be hater here... I swear. I just think actions speak louder than words in this instance. No one wants to hear you talk about how you feel disrespected when you're asked if you thought about opting out. He could have just said, "I always intended to play in 2020," or something along those lines. Something is different this season though (other than the obvious) -- Marcus Mariota is behind him, and if Carr struggles, I have no doubt Mariota will be in there with something to prove as well. Carr always says he doesn't care what anyone thinks, clearly he does. Don't talk about it, be about it.
