In one of the most bone-headed plays from Sunday (and there were a lot, so that's saying something), Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson decided to punt on fourth-and-twelve during overtime, instead of going for it. In hindsight, Pederson admits that that wasn't the best idea.
Pederson's reasoning behind the decision to punt was that it would give the Cincinnati Bengals a chance to win. To me, this says more about the team's dwindling confidence in starting quarterback Carson Wentz than anything else.
