The Philadelphia Eagles remain the lone unbeaten team in the NFL with a 29-17 win over the Houston Texans.

more QB News:

  • The Cleveland Browns held a press conference on Wednesday, where General Manager Andrew Berry spoke about quarterback Deshaun Watson's eventual return to the field. Watson is nearing the end of his 11-game suspension, and Berry acknowledged that it might take a bit for Watson to get up to speed. "We spent a lot of time with Deshaun in the spring and banked a lot of good reps during that time. That being said, like I don't think that our approach isn't to, really, any quarterback, but you know, certainly with the time that Deshaun has had off to expect him to shoulder everything."
  • The Carolina Panthers are sticking with QB PJ Walker as their starter even though the guy they traded for in the offseason, Baker Mayfield, is healthy. Mayfield may not be happy with his role as the backup at this time, but acknowledges it's not his call.

  • The Detroit Lions traded away star tight end TJ Hockenson to the Minnesota Vikings earlier this week. Whenever you lose one of your best players on offense, the quarterback will probably be a little pissed. Jared Goff said, "It sucks going through that as a teammate, mostly just seeing him in the building every day, not being able to be around him. But yeah, I wish him the best, and I know he'll be successful in doing his thing. Happy for him and hope everything works out for him."
  • Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill did not practice on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. He is dealing with an ankle injury.

RB Derrick Henry
DL Jeffery Simmons
S Amani Hooker
