conspiracy szn

  • It's conspiracy season, and this is a good one. Kyler Murray has scrubbed his social media of anything related to the Arizona Cardinals. Of course, it could mean absolutely nothing, but please, let the takes fly.

Kyler Murray scraped all Cardinals content from his Instagram.

This is what happens when a perennially bottom-dwelling organization wastes their star QB’s rookie scale contract bc they were happy to have a midseason winning record twice in 3 seasons.

Changes MUST be made. Soon.

  • The Houston Texans have hired their new head coach, and in true Texans fashion, it's not of the dudes who have been discussed as in the running for the job. The team hired Lovie Smith, a head coach who hasn't had a winning season in basically forever. Why not just keep David Culley, who you fired after only one season, if this is your replacement? How does this team have fans?

Texans are expected to hire former Buccaneers and Bears head coach Lovie Smith as their own head coach, sources tell me and @fieldyates.

Smith was the Texans’ associate head coach last season; all he now needs to do is drop the associate from his title.

  • The new Washington Commanders tried their damn hardest to keep the new name a secret. They even went to great lengths to file a trademark in Trinidad and Tobago to keep everyone from finding out. As most things do in Washington, this backfired, however, and many people knew of the name (including myself) before the release date on February 2.

The Washington Commanders have filed 7 new trademark applications around the team's new name.

The interesting part about the filings? The @Commanders made the first "COMMANDERS" trademark filing back on August 6th in Trinidad and Tobago.#Commanders pic.twitter.com/8NULaTe8Ey

  • One thing stood out as the Green Bay Packers exited in the playoffs. Well, two, if you mention the greatness of Jimmy Garoppolo. It wasn't that Aaron Rodgers and the offense only managed to score 10 points. It was their special teams. Green Bay may be out of a quarterback in Rodgers, but they are gaining a solid special teams mind in Rich Bisaccia. He became the Las Vegas Raiders' interim head coach after the firing of Jon Gruden midseason.

The #Packers are expected to hire former #Raiders interim coach Rich Bisaccia as their new special teams coach, sources say. The unit was an issue in GB last year, and coach Matt LaFleur goes a long way toward fixing it. Bisaccia is universally respected.
