tom brady is a patriot no more
Let me just start off by saying I am floored. I thought for sure he was staying. But no -- legendary quarterback Tom Brady announced on Tuesday that whatever his next football decision is, it will have nothing to do with the New England Patriots. He announced it himself (because of course he did) on his social media.
Never forget that Tom Brady's last game as a Patriot was a horrible L to the Tennessee Titans and his last pass was a pick-six. I'm sure Patriots fans everywhere are dealing with this calmly and rationally. cam newton may or may not have wanted a trade
On Tuesday, news broke that Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was given permission by the team to seek a trade. We all kind of knew that was coming. Plot twist: He fired back saying the team "forced" him into this, and it wasn't his choice.
It doesn't seem like we'll know for sure exactly what happened here, but the bottom line is: This was gonna happen regardless if they wanted it or not. As for Cam? I think he's still got some left in the tank if, a) he's fully healthy; b) he goes to the right place. We shall see. Drew Brees is staying in New Orleans - rejoice!
We knew this one was gonna happen too, it was just a matter of when. The New Orleans Saints and their QB Drew Brees agreed to a two-year, $50 million deal on Tuesday for him to remain with the team.
This more than likely means he'll be a Saint for life. Hashtag blessed. cory littleton to the raiders
Ex-Los Angeles Rams linebacker Cory Littleton signed a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders (still weird to say that).
This is an under-the-radar pick, but you'll see soon enough how this will benefit them. vic BEASleY signs with the titans
Former Atlanta Falcons pass-rusher Vic Beasley signed a deal with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday.
Win/win on this deal. Get a guy who's good when healthy and only committed for one season if he's not. DJ Reader to the bengals.
Defensive tackle DJ Reader is signing a four-year, $53 million deal with the Cincinnati Bengals for some reason.
And the Bengals aren't done yet. alex lewis staying in new york (new jersey).
Offensive lineman Alex Lewis is staying put with the New York Jets, as he signed a deal on Tuesday for three years and $18.6 million.
This is a little much, in my opinion. He's a solid guy, versatile, but that's a lot of money for someone with his injury history. two watts in pittsburgh
God dammit, why do they have to do this to me? Fullback Derek Watt is joining his brother, linebacker TJ Watt on the Pittsburgh Steelers next season.
JJ gonna sign here too, or what?
