Friday morning Football: A reminder of what Thursday Night Football is actually like

Getting into the swing of things with Monday Night Football, then two nights off, and then starting all over with Thursday Night Football is touch, especially with the double-header on Monday. Anywho, both the Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Bucs game into TNF without a win, and the first one to get it was the 

From what I've gathered:

• Breshad Perriman still can't catch. My eye still twitches when I hear, "Just off the hands of Breshad Perriman..." It's triggering.
• Jameis Winston didn't play that well, but he didn't turn the ball over, which is a step up for him I guess.
  
• It's time for all of us to accept that there might be something wrong with Cam Newton. He was missing receivers badly, looked uncomfortable the whole time, and couldn't get in the end zone once. It's still early, and they were on a short week, so he gets that pass, but all eyes will be on him in Week 3. 

highlights and lowlights:

• Weather delays are so maddening. This game was called in the first quarter with an almost 30-minute delay due to lightning in the area. The camera safety rules (ya they protect the cameramen more than the players), only allowed two cameras on the field, so there were some ....interesting angles which made me feel like I was inside a small aircraft.
• Bucs LB Devin White and their first-round pick this year, was ruled out of the game in the first quarter with a  knee injury. Thankfully, the Bucs believe it's just a sprain, and nothing too serious. 
• It wasn't that great of a throw, but this catch by Chris Godwin just before halftime, was a fantastic grab. This gave the Bucs the lead heading into halftime.
