Foles mania (?) may be over in Jacksonville, but it will still cost them big bucks.

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed the Super Bowl winning QB to a wild contract this offseason -- including a $15 million guarantee for next season, regardless if they play him or not. 

Nick Foles has played 173 snaps in four games this season and if the change to Gardner Minshew is permanent for the final month of the season Foles will have earned $177,746 per snap in 2019.

Foles not only missed several games this season due to injury, but he also let rookie backup QB Gardner Minshew take the reins from him. Minshew was named the starter going forward on Monday. 

Minshew's promotion was well-deserved -- he's clearly the better option if the Jaguars want to win (which is debatable), but that Foles contract is one of the worst I can remember.

In the first half of last night's Monday Night Football matchup, Seattle Seahawks defensive back Quandre Diggs delivered this hit on Minnesota Vikings tight end Irv Smith Jr., which set him back at least a week.
