Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow missed most of the preseason with a lingering calf injury, started the season 0-2, re-aggravated the injury in Week Two, risked not being ready for Week Three, and now comes up with a win for Monday Night Football. Now you're all caught up.
Burrow's limited mobility was an issue in Monday's game, but he managed - completing 26-of-49 passes for 259 yards and one interception. Not a great stat line, but he was able to rely on star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase to pick up the slack.
As of right now (Tuesday morning), Burrow suffered no setbacks on his calf Monday night. I'd expect him to be limited in practice this week as he manages the injury, but he's made it clear he intends to play through this injury.
