Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Khalen Saunders left Thursday night's season opener with an elbow injury. Saunders is now expected to miss about a month with said elbow injury.
Anytime you hear the words, "no fractures" and "does not need surgery" relating to an otherwise severe injury, that's good news. I'd expect the Chiefs to stick Saunders on injured reserve, as he would return after at least three weeks. Kansas City has the Los Angeles Chargers up next.
