Kyler Murray diagnosed with a torn ACL

Kyler Murray did tear his ACL as expected, an MRI confirms. He will miss the rest of the season.

While this season was mostly a wash for the Arizona Cardinals, now the question lingers if he'll be ready to go by the start of the 2023 season.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters on Tuesday that he will get more tests done before having surgery.

• Kenny Pickett has entered the NFL's concussion protocol after leaving Sunday's game. Backup Mitch Trubisky took his place and would likely get the starting nod should Pickett not be able to go in Week 15. This is Pickett's second such injury in two months, which is cause for concern.

• Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback Tyler Huntley is in concussion protocol but was able to participate in Tuesday's walk-through practice. Huntley was listed as limited.

• Brock Purdy remained limited in practice on Sunday as he tries to play through his injury. Purdy stated earlier in the week that he expects to play.
  
  • For an official "ok" to play, head coach Kyle Shanahan says it will be "probably" Thursday.
