Kyler Murray says 'fuck you, pay me'

  • After speculation that Kyler Murray is on the outs with the Arizona Cardinals and erasing all traces of the team on his social media, his agent dropped a bombshell via the media on Monday morning. Bright and early. Murray's agent Erik Burkhardt sent out a (lengthy and hard to read) memo stating that Murray wants a new contract to remain in Arizona for the long term. So basically, he said, "fuck you, pay me or else." Aside from needing a magnifying glass to read that shit, it is shaping up to be a long offseason in the desert.

  • On Monday, a new report from ProFootballTalk said that the Miami Dolphins had some "great plans" for 2022. Said, "great plans" were to acquire Tom Brady and Sean Payton. Then came the Brian Flores lawsuit, and these plans fizzled out. Also included in the Brady plans were a minority ownership stake in the team. It's pretty aggressive, I think, but now the Dolphins have to plan for the 2022 season with new head coach Mike McDaniel and current starter Tua Tagovailoa. I'm certainly still in the camp who thinks McDaniel will want a vet QB, but that remains up in the air for the time being.

As to the Brady side of the equation, multiple Dolphins sources acknowledged under condition of anonymity that the team has had internal discussions about Brady purchasing a minority interest in the team. https://t.co/ffWddkPfdW

  • The Green Bay Packers announced they are playing a game in London this upcoming season, and they did so with a graphic that emulates The Beatles' 'Abbey Road' cover art. However, they left out two key players: quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver Davante Adams. Rodgers is undecided on his future with the team or the NFL in general, and Adams is due to become a free agent. Let the conspiracy theories run wild!

  • The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have plenty of changes on the horizon. They won't have Tom Brady under center next season (most likely), and their look could also be undergoing a makeover. On Monday, the Bucs announced that they are bringing back Bucco Bruce and the creamsicle-colored uniforms in 2023. The announcement insinuated that it was supposed to be this season for the new threads, but they are pushing it back to the following year due to supply chain issues.

Big news, Krewe! Throwback uniforms returning in 2023 □

Due to global supply chain challenges, we will have to wait one more year than hoped.
