Baltimore Ravens quarterback and reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson sat out practice yesterday with what the team called a "knee problem." I wasn't worried then. Only when I learned that Jackson missed a second practice, did the worry begin to set in.
This is the first time in Jackson's professional career that he has missed two practices in a row. Head coach John Harbaugh does not address the media until Friday, so we won't know until then what the status of Baltimore's star quarterback will be. If he does not practice Friday, that will be an indicator that he could possibly sit in Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Updated: Lamar Jackson expected to play
According to this report, Jackson is expected to play and the team is "just being cautious" with his knee. Uh huh.
