Lamar Jackson finally broke his silence to address his knee issue that's been plaguing him all season.

Unwritten in this tweet is that Jackson doesn't sound like he'll be back anytime should, should the Baltimore Ravens advance to the next round.

Jackson was not present at Ravens practice on Thursday. Tyler Huntley appears to be in line to be the starter for Baltimore this weekend; he threw during Thursday's session, something he didn't do last week.

Thank you everyone for your support and concerns regarding my injuries. I want to give you all an update as I am in the recovery process. I’ve suffered a PCL grade 2 sprain on the borderline of a strain 3. There is still inflammation surrounding my knee and my knee

more Qb news:

  • When I think of Joe Burrow, I think of one word: confidence. Confidence can sometimes be mistaken for arrogance, the vibe Burrow sometimes gives off (primarily to opposing fans). However, Burrow says you need to be a little arrogant sometimes. "You can't go out there scared in the moment. You have to be a little arrogant to go out there in that moment and make plays you need to make. In those moments is where I kind of make my best plays."
  • San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy has had a storybook start to his rookie year - coming in for Jimmy Garoppolo when he broke his foot and being able to keep it rolling despite never playing in the NFL before. Purdy says he's not thinking about that and is focused on their next opponent, knowing they'll go home if they don't win. "Yes, it's the playoffs, but for myself, I've got to do my job. I'm not trying to think about this storybook ending or anything like that."
    • Brock Purdy was named the NFL offensive rookie of the month for the month of December.
  • As we all assumed, the Las Vegas Raiders will begin looking at trade options for quarterback Derek Carr. The team is under a time crunch, as Carr is owed a lump sum of $40.4 million if he's still on the team on February 15th. Another thing to keep in mind - Carr has a no-trade clause in his contract, meaning he'll have to approve the team and location before being traded. Jim Irsay is salivating at the mouth.

Sources: The #Raiders will begin the process of evaluating the trade market for QB Derek Carr, as they prepare for a decision on their QB for the future. This points to the possibility of Carr, who holds a no-trade clause and will be part of the process, leaving the organization. pic.twitter.com/zvZvGv8cQ5

  • New York Jets owner Woody Johnson said the team is willing to spend big if the right veteran quarterback comes along.
  • The Jacksonville Jaguars listed Trevor Lawrence as questionable on the team's injury report.
