Miami Dolphins backup quarterback Mike White is in concussion protocol after this weekend's preseason game.
Despite their fan base spending their custody weekend with their kids shit-talking me on the Internet, the Miami Dolphins have yet another concussion problem on their hands. In what seems like deja-vu from starter Tua Tagovailoa's concussion debacle last season, this is yet another instance that makes you scratch your head (no pun intended).
The Dolphins gave $4.5 million guaranteed to White this offseason to be their backup, but third-stringer Skylar Thompson has shown promise this preseason as well. Miami could have a decision to make as to whom the QB2 will be. The team will likely keep all three QBs on the 53-man roster as an insurance policy.
And yes, this concussion is Concussion No. 4 for Dolphins QBs in the past year.
