mike mayock is donating $1,000 per draft pick
During his pre-draft presser, Las Vegas Raiders (I'm gonna be calling them Oakland Raiders for at least a year) general manager Mike Mayock vowed to donate $1,000 per draft pick he makes toward support for fighting COVID-19.
The money will go to the Clark County Delivering with Dignity Program, which helps families in need in and around the Las Vegas area. The Raiders currently have seven picks -- which could increase or decrease due to trades, so... you do the math. With so much uncertainty in sports -- will there even be a season, being the biggest question -- it's good on Mayock to use one event that we know for sure is going to happen -- the draft -- as an example to help people. notable signings:
