big yikes for bill o'brien
On ESPN's Get Up, Michael Irvin made some ... interesting claims against Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien. He claimed that wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (who was just traded yesterday) told him that O'Brien compared him to Aaron Hernandez and pointed out that he had multiple baby mamas.
I don't really have anything much to say about this except -- yikes. Who cares how many baby mamas you have, first of all, who's business is that but your own? I also don't think he'd really have much to say if it was pointed out that Tom Brady also has more than one baby mama...... broncos get jurrell casey from the titans
The Tennessee Titans traded five-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jurrell Casey to the Denver Broncos just before the start of free agency on Wednesday. The Titans got a seventh-round pick in return.
The Broncos definitely needed help on defense, considering the amount of time that my lord and savior Joe Flacco came back for the win, just to have the defense completely blow it. Just saying. malcolm jenkins close to deal with saints
Malcolm Jenkins spent five seasons with the New Orleans Saints before heading to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014. After being cut earlier this week, Jenkins looks to be back on the move to New Orleans.
I don't know if it's my being emotional from the 'Rona or not, but I'm filing this one under "feel good story." It'll likely be where he ends his career. nick foles is a chicago bear
It finally happened. While my money was on Andy Dalton, the Jacksonville Jaguars traded quarterback Nick Foles to the Chicago Bears, as some competition for Mitch Trubisky. Jacksonville gets a fourth-rounder in return.
That means it's permanent (maybe?) Minshew Mania in Jacksonville. I like that. On the Bears' end, I'm not sure if I really like this. Neither one of them is really great, while neither one is necessarily bad either. I think Trubisky is young enough to get another chance, a veteran will be good for him. His main downfall last season was his confidence, and he can get that back. Time will tellllllllllll (I'm slowly going insane). ben garland stays in san fran
The San Francisco 49ers are sticking with center Ben Garland, signing him to a one-year, $2.25 million deal.
Like I always say: You don't realize how much you value a good center until you don't have one. dante fowler to sign with atlanta
Free agent pass-rusher Dante Fowler is signing with the Atlanta Falcons
The Los Angles Rams apparently did try to hang on to him, so I'm gonna assume he went to Atlanta for the money, not the promise of winning a championship. We all know how I feel about that route. chris harris goes to la
Corner Chris Harris is staying in the AFC West, but he's switching teams. The former Denver Bronco is heading to the Los Angeles Chargers.
There are reports that he turned down the Las Vegas Raiders, which is funny. bruce irvin signs with the seahawks
Big day for dudes whose last names are Irvin. Veteran defensive end Bruce Irvin signed with the Seattle Seahawks shortly after the new league year began.
michael pierce heads to minnesota
The Minnesota Vikings are signing defensive tackle Michael Pierce to a pretty nice deal -- three years, $27 million, with $18 guaranteed.
After the signing of Michael Brockers, it was pretty clear Pierce wouldn't be back with the Baltimore Ravens. After being an undrafted guy, this pay day is not bad at all. lions grab DESmond TRUANT
Cornerback Desmond Trufant is signing with the Detroit Lions on a two-year, $21 million deal. Now, all Darius Slay wants is to be traded ASAP.
