The Indianapolis Colts worked out top QB prospects CJ Stroud and Bryce Young on Monday. The Colts pick at No. 4 in this year's NFL Draft and are in desperate need of a quarterback after starting the corpse of Matt Ryan in 2022.

Indianapolis will also work out prospect Will Levis on Thursday in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Colts have been linked to QB Lamar Jackson as well, which could be an interesting option should the QB they prefer go before they are on the clock. The team also signed QB Gardner Minshew this offseason.

Both Stroud and Young will have various visits in the next coming days as they meet with teams. Stroud will visit the Houston Texans on Wednesday.

more Qb news:

  • Will Levis visited the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday. The Raiders hold the overall No. 7 pick in this year's draft.
    • Anthony Richardson will also visit with the Raiders this week - on Friday.
  • Hendon Hooker will visit with the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday.
  • Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett is heading into his second season in 2023, and a lot of folks are counting on him to make a big jump. Pickett improved a little bit each week, and he says he attributes most of that to him getting out there and playing. "The biggest growth for me was mentally. Just understanding of the system. It comes with reps. You want that fast. You can study on paper, you can study in the film room, but sometimes you really just need to go through some things and see it with your own eyes and then watch yourself go through it on tape."
  • Georgia quarterback and draft prospect Stetson Bennett was arrested earlier this year for public intoxication (college... ever heard of it?). His arrest video has been released, if you're into that sort of thing.
  • Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford missed half of 2022 with a scary spinal cord injury, but head coach Sean McVay says he'll have no limitations heading into the offseason program. McVay hopes Stafford not only stays healthy, but comes back with a vengeance. "I think this is the first offseason in a long time that he's actually feeling good. He's been able to throw. He's been able to kind of start his rhythm and routine a little bit earlier than previous years."
