After fracturing his ribs during Week Two's game, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was back at practice on Wednesday. While it's still up in the air whether he will be on the field for Sunday's game, head coach Brian Flores says he would play if it were up to Tagovailoa.

The New York Jets are on a bye this week, and that gives them some time to get their shit together, respectfully speaking. Rookie quarterback Zach Wilson hasn't exactly impressed the way some other rookies have, but he plans to keep working even while he's on a short break. "I'm going home to see my family - I haven't seen them in a while. And I'm going to work with my quarterback coach, John Beck, that I train with. He's super close with our staff as well, so I'm excited to go and just work on some of the things I feel like I can clean up. I'm going to watch the first five games, see what I really want to put an emphasis on, and how I can just clear my mind and spend a little time with the family and then be ready to come back and get after it next week."

Tyrod Taylor is still out this week for the Houston Texans, but head coach David Culley says he'll be the starter when he's healthy. Rookie Davis Mills has been playing in Taylor's place for the past few weeks. "Tyrod comes back and he's healthy, he's our starting quarterback. As far as the quarterback situation, he gives us our best chance to win."

The Kansas City Chiefs' defense isn't doing so hot so far this season, and that's an understatement. Another issue with KC is the number of turnovers they've had on offense. It's very un-Patrick Mahomes-like. However, Mahomes said these types of issues have nothing to do with the defense's struggles. "That's kind of how I have my mindset going into every single game is that, when we get an opportunity to go out there and have success and be successful, we have to capitalize on that. It has nothing to do with whatever is happening on the other side of the ball. It's just our job as an offense on this team."
