Titans Rookie QB Will Levis dealing with lower body injury

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis left practice on Thursday and did not return. Levis is dealing with a lower body injury, and his status for this weekend's preseason game is up in the air.

Malik Willis is already expected to start preseason Week Two. Head coach Mike Vrabel said they will see where he's at come Saturday.

• Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said the team will play QB Josh Allen, other starters into the second quarter during this week's preseason game.
  

McDermott says Cam Lewis and Damien Harris will still be limited at practice today.

Starters, including Josh Allen, will play about a quarter and a half on Saturday.

• Sam Darnold will likely get the start for Week 2 of the preseason. "It's not set in stone," head coach Kyle Shanahan said. "What I said last week, we wanted Trey [Lance] to get the majority of the first half so Sam could get the next week."
  
  • Shanahan also said presumed starter Brock Purdy may play a series or two on Saturday. "We plan on Sam going the first half still... I might get Brock in there for a little bit. I haven't finalized that yet, but thinking about playing the ones, for possibly a series, a little in the first quarter."
    

• Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans says rookie QB CJ Stroud will start in preseason Week 2.
