tony romo gets $$$$$
Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo cashed into a new announcing deal with CBS. The record-breaking multi-year deal stacks up to about $17 million per season. Tony is swimming in cash right now.
Romo is one of the best in business. I'm someone who is so used to watching games that I can tune out the talking, but Romo is one of the few that I can listen to without wanting to tear my hair out. As for the money aspect, that is a lot -- more than most NFL players make in a year. If this is the going rate, more players might go this route after playing -- but they need to be good at it first. offensive linemen aren't supposed to be this fast.
Louisville offensive lineman Mekhi Becton is the heaviest player in the NFL at 6'7" and 364 pounds. On Friday, someone that big ran a 5.11 40. Unheard of.
ladies and gentlemen, jonathan taylor.
Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor ran a 4.41 40 time at the NFL Scouting Combine, just adding to his impressive resume.
Taylor was the first college player to rush for more than 6,000 yards in a three-year span, and the sixth most all-time rusher. Not bad -- the question is if he peaked in college. Can he carry this over in the NFL?
