Dallas Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith did not play in Week Two against the Atlanta Falcons, as he was listed on the injury report with a neck injury. It is not that big of a deal even though it left the Cowboys in a tough spot as far as the offensive line goes. Owner Jerry Jones said the team was taking precautions on sitting Smith.
I'm more leaning towards the camp that Jerry is just talking out of his ass here, mostly because he doesn't say the severity of the injury or if Smith will be able to go this weekend. Good thing the Cowboys didn't need him; of course, they lucked out because the Falcons couldn't hold a lead. Stop me if you've heard this one before.
