Aaron Rodgers has already been dealing with a thumb injury, and now he has a ribs/oblique injury he suffered during Sunday night's game. Rodgers will have an MRI and a CT scan to rule out any significant injuries, such as broken ribs or a punctured lung.

Head coach Matt LaFleur said on Monday that Rodgers would start if he's healthy, but didn't give much of an update on his status.

more QB news:

  • Jimmy Garoppolo stayed in the game on Sunday but took a massive shot to his knee (yep, the one he had previously had surgery on). Even though he wasn't seriously hurt, Garoppolo spoke about how he doesn't think those hits have a place on the field. "You've got to be smart as players, look out for one another. There's no place for that. I'm alright - a little sore, but nothing bad."
  • Sam Darnold got his first start of the season and seemed to have it together more than any other quarterback who has started for the Carolina Panthers this year. But, he says, it isn't about him. "There are so many guys that had a hand in this, for me to just go out there, do my job and find some completions, move the chains a couple of times... Just super proud of the guys in the locker room." A humble king.
  • After Mike White's fantastic outing on Sunday, Robert Saleh addressed reporters on the QB situation, saying they were "week-to-week" at the position. AKA, Zach Wilson isn't getting this job back until White and Joe Flacco both start to suck.

"This is Mike White's opportunity. When we feel that Zach [Wilson] is ready to roll, he's gonna roll."

  • Trevor Lawrence had his best game of the season, and when a team has struggled to find a good quarterback for years, that's a good day. Head coach Doug Pederson said Lawrence's fourth-quarter performance (15-of-19, 173 yards, and two touchdowns) was very promising for the young QB. "I would say these last three games, or so, he's done a really nice job with our system and our offense."
  • Deshaun Watson is officially back with the Cleveland Browns as of Monday, if you're into that sort of thing.
    • The Browns waived QB Josh Dobbs to make room for Watson on the 53-man roster.

After an 11-game suspension for violations of the NFL's personal conduct policy, #Browns QB Deshaun Watson has complied with all the terms and now is officially back and active.
