Zach Ertz is magically not thinking about his contract anymore

Tight end Zach Ertz is due an extension just about any day now with the Philadelphia Eagles, and expressed frustrations earlier in the season when they were able to come up with something prior to the season. 

Now, apparently, that's the furthest thing from his mind.

Ertz: "Once the games started, my sole focus has been on trying to find ways to win football games and get open on time for Carson and be a great teammate, and since the season started I think I've done that. ...In regards to the contract, that's not even in my thought process." pic.twitter.com/GtGwMmvEeL

It would be a complete understatement to say that the Eagles are not playing great this season, so it's no wonder that Ertz can't think about anything else. With just one touchdown and only a handful of catches through three games, there's still time for the team to get Ertz involved. They need to do something.
