Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray suffered a non-contact knee injury on the third play during Monday Night Football.
Murray was in the middle of a scramble when his knee appeared to buckle. (I'm not going to post the video, but you can look for it if you want to see it.) Murray was carted off the field, surrounded by teammates, and quickly ruled questionable to return. Murray was later ruled out by the team in the second quarter with a knee injury. Backup QB Colt McCoy replaced him.
Reports began to emerge throughout the game that Murray had torn his ACL. Murray will have an MRI on Tuesday to confirm.

This weekend, USC quarterback Caleb Wiliams won college football's biggest prize, the Heisman Trophy. While he can't enter the NFL Draft until 2024, this is great to have on your resume. And he won it in a landslide.

QB INJURY UPDATES:
The Atlanta Falcons are on a bye this week but come Week 15; they'll have a new quarterback. The team is benching starter Marcus Mariota in favor of rookie QB Desmond Ridder, a move that came too late, in my opinion.
Ridder was selected in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft after being a standout at Cincinnati. Ridder has not taken any regular season snaps yet, but he'll have extra time to prepare.
More importantly, Ridder's performance over the last quarter of the NFL season should give the team some clarity on if he is their QB of the Future. More QB news:
With starter Matthew Stafford already ruled out due to a concussion, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay wouldn't say whether or not backup John Wolford or Bryce Perkins will get the start. However, he did say Perkins got first-team reps in practice this week.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has been dealing with a hamstring injury for a couple of weeks, missing two games so far. Murray reportedly originally injured his hamstring at the end of October. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said on Tuesday that while Murray has made some progress, he's not quite ready to return to the field.
As a disappointing season for Arizona continues, backup QB Colt McCoy will get starting reps while Murray is out.
The Cardinals have the Los Angeles Chargers up next, followed by a Week 13 bye. It's very possible they wait until after the bye week to put Murray back in the line-up. more QB news:
Are we closer than ever to seeing Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder the hell outta here? Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay told reporters at the owners' conference that he believes there is "merit" to remove him. ?
I'm not going to get into the logistics, but Snyder is a eyesore amongst the NFL (where there are many bad things happening, so that tells you a lot). It's certainly interesting to see another NFL owner publicly state those comments; it makes you think he's not alone in his thoughts. Irsay also said it may take about 24 votes to oust Snyder.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams shoved a photographer after Monday night's game (if you haven't seen the video, you've likely been hiding under a rock), and is now being charged with misdemeanor assault.
The cameraman, a freelancer who was working for Monday Night Football, was said to have suffered a "minor concussion" during the event. The NFL is investigating the incident for a potential fine and/or suspension.

While it was expected he'd return in Week 5, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott doesn't seem ready to see the field yet. Owner Jerry Jones spoke on Tuesday and stated that Prescott can't yet grip the football "well enough to play."
Prescott injured his thumb in Week One and has since had surgery. While he was eyeing a Week Five return, backup quarterback Cooper Rush has been holding down the fort quite well at the position and, therefore, shouldn't Rush it. Haha get it? So, when will we see Dak Bak? (I need to stop with these puns.) I think Prescott will return when he is:

The Buffalo Bills started the season with a beautiful first drive right into the end zone. Quarterback Josh Allen threw a 26-yard pass to wide receiver Gabriel Davis for a touchdown. Allen was 5-for-5 with 58 yards on the drive. A turnover fest broke out in the second quarter, with three straight turnovers. First, Allen "threw" an interception to receiver Isaiah McKenzie (who straight up dropped it). Then, running back James Cook fumbled the ball on his first carry shortly after. Finally, Rams QB Matthew Stafford gave it right back, throwing an interception to CB Dane Jackson. The Bills ended this turnover streak with a field goal to take a 10-0 lead over Los Angeles. The game went into halftime tied 10-10 after a phenomenal catch from wide receiver Cooper Kupp. It's good. Trust me.
Following halftime, Buffalo appeared to make adjustments as they forced a Rams' three-and-out. A stiff arm and a redemption touchdown by McKenzie later, the Bills were up 17-10.
Buffalo came away with the win, beating the Rams 31-10.

It's what we've all been waiting for. While there has been no formal announcement from the team, quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is listed as the No. 1 QB on the Pittsburgh Steelers' depth chart to start Week One.
The starting role was always Trubisky's to lose since Pittsburgh signed him to a two-year, $14.58 million contract this offseason. But, while Trubisky took most of the first-string reps this summer during training camp, it was suspected perhaps rookie (and only first-round QB selected in this year's draft) Kenny Pickett could overtake the role. Instead, Pickett is listed as No. 3 on the Steelers' first depth chart, behind Mason Rudolph, for some reason.
How long will the depth chart stay this way? It's a fair question. Head coach Mike Tomlin could announce otherwise before the Steelers' first game on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. If Trubisky struggles during the season, do they throw the keys to the rookie? I think Pickett will start a game this season before Rudolph, should they reach that point. But for now, it's wait and see. more:
