Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been dealing with a shoulder injury for over a month, but it didn't look like it hindered him much in the NFC Championship Game. Hurts said Thursday that he's still working through it but expects to play.

While he still has to make a firm decision on his future in the NFL, a trade is still on the table for Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. A trade would free up a big chunk of change for the team ($60 million, to be exact), but he is not expected to be traded to an NFC team. A couple of intriguing teams are the Las Vegas Raiders and the New York Jets, both of whom are expected to move on from their current starters.

Rodgers is not making a rash decision soon, saying on Tuesday that he'll take some time before deciding.

The Los Angeles Rams were the lucky winners of the Baker Mayfield sweepstakes after he was put on waivers by the Carolina Panthers on Monday.
While he's not expected to start on Thursday night, Mayfield reportedly went straight to LA, playbook in hand and ready to learn the offense. The Rams placed starting quarterback Matthew Stafford on injured reserve after a series of injuries; backup John Wolford is also injured, leaving Bryce Perkins at the position.
While Los Angeles is all but done as far as the playoff race goes, and Mayfield hasn't exactly lit it up in the NFL, this is the best roster he's been a part of thus far. It'll be interesting to see what comes of this move long-term. Despite a few other teams potentially needing someone at the QB position, the Rams were the only team to put in a waiver claim for Mayfield. more qb news:

Aaron Rodgers has already been dealing with a thumb injury, and now he has a ribs/oblique injury he suffered during Sunday night's game. Rodgers will have an MRI and a CT scan to rule out any significant injuries, such as broken ribs or a punctured lung.
Head coach Matt LaFleur said on Monday that Rodgers would start if he's healthy, but didn't give much of an update on his status. more QB news:

The Washington Commanders beat the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night, which sparked questions that have been brewing for a few weeks: Should Taylor Heinicke keep the starting job? Will Carson Wentz, the intended starter, get his job back? Wentz is currently on injured reserve but is set to return soon. The Commanders' offense is playing better with Heinicke. Washington is 3-1 when Heinicke starts, compared to just 2-4 under Wentz. The Commanders will also have to give up a second-round pick to the Indianapolis Colts if Wentz plays 70 percent of snaps. It's a no-brainer for me. Head coach Ron Rivera spoke on Tuesday and did not name a starter for Week 11.
